This op shop is the perfect go to location when you’re looking for something to impress and dress-up. Your next fancy dress party outfit, sorted! A lot of retro and a lot of vintage, just how we like it!

2. Salvation Army, Southport
You can find Southport’s Salvos store right next to Randy Wallhole in Nind Street (great for that post-shopping treat). Just like most Salvos stores they offer a variety of bric-a-brac, clothing to accessories and furniture.

3. Buttons ‘n’ Beans Op Shop, Southport
As the name might already give away, this op shop is half op shop half cafe and definitely worth a visit. All funds go to FSG Australia to support our local community. They are always looking for new stock, so if you are having a Spring Clean, please keep them in mind!

4. Endeavour Recycled Clothing Store, Ashmore
Seasoned thrifters will know about this gem but for the rest of you, we’ve let the secret out! They are the Porsche amongst the op shops and feature everything from top notch labels and vintage designer clothing to furniture and books, you’re guaranteed to find a super cool bargain, cheap, cheap, cheap!

So our friends in the outer ‘burbs don’t have to miss out on the bargain hunt we bring to you Nerang’s Salvos Store just off the Pacific Motorway on Station Street. Friendly service and a great range of pre-loved items make this op shop a place to return!

7. RSPCA, Miami
Another op-shop dinosaur is the RSPCA store in Miami, on the Gold Coast. Besides the usual ‘stuff’, clothing and books they also shelter animals and serve as an animal adoption centre. When spending your gold coins at RSPCA Miami, you can be assured that you’re making a real difference, with all proceeds on the items going straight back into helping animals in need. Also a fantastic selection of new animal products for your four legged friend!

This hidden treasure trove located on the lower Gold Coast Highway just around the corner from Commune Cafe is rather small but offers you a good variety of clothing, furniture and home-wares. Plus it’s always a good feeling knowing you’re helping animals in need with your new finds. Show them off in style by relaxing with a yummy coffee afterwards.

10. RSPCA, West Burleigh
Bargain hunters beware… RSPCA’s biggest Gold Coast store is another well kept secret and features furniture, books, toys, music, clothing and even some antiques! It’s pretty easy to spend hours browsing through all the second-hand steals and collectables, but as long as you make it out with some unique fashion items and vintage finds it’s well worth it!
