But which party will you choose? To make things a little easier, or perhaps harder, here are a few we’ve collated to ensure you don’t miss out on a very good time this New Years Eve (from north to south).
Aviary Rooftop Bar

Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort
Round up your crew for ‘A Glamorous Affair’ in the Mirage Grand Ballroom to welcome in 2019. This adults-only event will feature a delicious buffet dinner, deluxe beverage package and glamorous theming. Time to dress to the nines and dance the night away. Tickets are $229.
Southport Yacht Club
A seafood buffet and live entertainment by The Hip Replacements will be a good spot to welcome 2019. It’s all happening at the Main Beach Club House overlooking the water and tickets are just $109 per person. Book here.

The 80s brought may have seen some questionable fashion choices, but you can’t argue that the music was epic. Which is why the Hard Rock Cafe Surfers Paradise presents 80’s Revisited this NYE. With a slew of memorable 80’s tunes spun by DJ Steve Dart and a ceiling balloon drop at midnight, this will be a party guaranteed to take you back in time. Tickets are $150pp, book here.

The Island
Super-lavish and totally extra, this multi-level soirée will be all about maxed-out glamour! Set across three levels and six exclusive spaces, guests will experience a New Year’s Eve production like no other on the Gold Coast. Tickets to the Cocktail Party include a 4.5 hour premium food and drinks package on the pool deck and rooftop with live music all night for $149 and the VIP Experience gets you a 4.5 hour super premium package in the penthouse with next-level entertainment for $199.

A New Years Eve Carnival will take place in Surfers Paradise over six days bringing all kinds of fun and frivolity to the streets. There’ll be daily attractions for the little ones to enjoy and the entire party will culminate in the biggest fireworks display the Gold Coast has on offer over Surfers’ beach. Happy days.

SkyPoint Australia
You’ll be Havana good time way up high at SkyPoint this New Years Eve with their yes, Havana themed party. You get a 4.5-hour drinks package, 3 hours of canapés (including a cheese and antipasto station) plus a Cuban band and DJ, salsa dancers, stilt walkers and fire performers to keep you on your toes. If you’ve got wee ones, you might be keen for an early celebration and then home to bed (same but with no kids). Bistro on 3 have you covered with a gourmet seafood and carvery buffet and live entertainment from 5.30pm. Could there be any better place to party this New Year’s Eve? Choose from a picnic on the Lawn, indulge in a special meal at one of the many excellent restaurants, watch the fireworks or ring in the New Year with The Star Gold Coast’s iconic balloon drop in the Atrium Foyer. However you celebrate, this might just be the place to get your 2019 off to a dazzling start.
Dracula’s Cabaret Restaurant
Celebrate New Years Eve in the spookiest way possible with a ghost train ride, Dracula’s new show Nine Pints, a three course meal with your choice of main and a complimentary glass of bubbles for $150. Nine Pints is a fun, music and comedy-filled show so you’ll definitely be enjoying a raucous party at your favourite local cabaret restaurant.

The Collective
Escape around the world with the Palmy favourites to end 2018 with a bang. It’ll be a five course of the globe style situation with each kitchen representing their home country by cooking up traditional fare. You can get yourself a Business Class ticket including a three-hour food and beverage package for $165 or First Class tickets with a VIP reserved rooftop space with three hours of food and beverages, a champagne service and dedicated five-star service for $265. It goes from 8pm to 2am and it sounds like the party of the year to us. Book here.
