If you’re anything like us, you love eating as much as (if not more than) your partner in crime (and life etc.). Luckily, on the good old GC, you can combine the two and nobody ever has to know where your loyalties really lie.

Here’s a collection of some lovely little events you should book yourself into quick smart because Valentine’s Day is coming up quick and you do not want to be that person who leaves it until the last minute (again). Listed from north to south.

Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove Resort
Romance is born inside the resort’s signature restaurant The Fireplace, with hushed lighting and the ambience of a crackling wood-fire oven setting the scene as you arrive to a celebratory flute of Chandon Sparkling before enjoying three-courses designed by Executive Chef Matt Hart. Highlighted dishes include an entrée of locally-sourced Moreton Bug and a custom-designed Valentine’s dessert: Raspberry and Chocolate Rose Delice. $79 per adult.

Palazzo Versace
Vanitas
Tantalise your taste buds over a candlelit dinner in Vanitas featuring a six-course Italian degustation including paired wines, glass of Champagne on arrival and petit Versace signature perfume. $319 per adult.

Cupid’s Twilight Cabana
Retreat behind the sheer curtains of your own private poolside cabana with live entertainment, a single long stem rose, petit Versace perfume, a bottle of Moët & Chandon Ice Imperial and an array of tapas. $549 per cabana.

Il Barocco Restaurant
Spoil your beloved with Il Barocco’s famous seafood buffet featuring a lavish range of international dishes, decadent desserts and a glass of sparkling wine on arrival. From $149 per adult.

Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort
Enjoy a glass of champagne on arrival before sitting down to a romantic five course experience with the option to pair wines at Oyster Bar and Grill. Yamagen Restaurant
Order up a slice of romance at Yamagen this Valentine’s Day. Executive Chef Adam Lane will guide you and your cutie on a delectable Omakase experience with crispy pork belly, thinly sliced snapper, tempura scampi, wagyu beef Kobe 6+ tataki and more. It’s $125 per person, including glass of Champagne on arrival.

Twilight Cabana Poolside
Take your bae on a romantic adventure poolside, with a twilight cabana dinner for two. Indulge with a glass of Veuve Clicquot on arrival and let QT share the love with a three course dinner, with a side of serious romance on us. It’s $250 per couple with limited spaces available.

Citrique
Indulge in Citrique’s at Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort & Spa’s award-winning seafood buffet with loved ones this Valentine’s Day. Featuring a beverage on arrival, live entertainment plus interactive dessert station. Prices are $109 per adult, $55 per child (5-12yrs) and 4yrs and under are complimentary.

Trattoria Amici

Four Winds 360
Feast on a delicious seafood inspired buffet whilst revolving around the Gold Coast skyline 26 floors up. Two sittings are available, the first at 5.30pm for the Gold Coast sunset and the second at 8.00pm which will be by candlelight. Both sittings include a glass of Mumm Champagne on arrival, a rose for your valentine, a complimentary gift to take home and live acoustic music. Tickets are just $139 per person.

Miss Moneypenny’s
If you’re looking for somewhere a little bit special with slick surrounds and plenty of cosy nooks to whisper sweet nothings, then Miss Moneypenny’s in Broadbeach is the place for you this Valentine’s Day. Architecturally designed and complete with an indoor fireplace, Miss Moneypenny’s will be dishing up globally inspired Mediterranean cuisine crafted by acclaimed Head Chef Braden White, alongside a diverse range of exotic cocktails and ‘two for one’ desserts from lunch, right through until dinner.

Harajuku Gyoza
They say that the way to your lovers’ heart is through their stomach…so we’re thinking seven-courses at Harajuku Gyoza should do the trick! Located on the ground floor of The Oasis in Broadbeach, Harajuku Gyoza is dishing out a super yum Valentine’s Day set menu including dishes such as Edamame, Miso Soup, grilled pork gyoza, poached lemongrass chicken gyoza, Karaage chicken, Tebasaki peppered chicken wings and a special limited edition strawberry gyoza.
