In news straight outta Broadbeach, Asian street food legends Junk are opening their intricately carved doors in (suddenly way too far away) December.
The hawker-style eatery is currently under construction in the Oasis Shopping Centre, your new favourite foodie hub and home to an array of good times.
Junk’s share-style eats pay homage to several Asian influences including Thai, Vietnamese, Malaysian and Chinese (be still our hearts) and focus on a simple style of eating with locally sourced ingredients.
You’re going to LOVE the menu, packed with goodies such as Crispy Peking Duck Spring Rolls, Chicken Katsu Baos, Black Bean Marinated Beef and Crispy Fried Gunpowder Chicken Ribs (bit of bang for your buck).
The Junk dream originated on the Sunshine Coast in 2014, opened up shop in Toowoomba, mosied on down to Brisbane and now, lucky us, has landed on the Gold Coast.
The much-loved venue is sure to make a splash come summer, so keep your eyes peeled, prep your crew and say goodbye to that bikini body.
LOCATION: Oasis Shopping Centre, Broadbeach
