Dad’s are good. So good in fact that they get one day of the year completely dedicated to their happiness and that day is coming up quick smart on Sunday September 6th.

Yes it’s Father’s Day again, if you forgot (again) never fear, we’ve got you covered.

Here’s a list of local goodies you could get your main man and you will get some sweet brownie points in the process.

GOODIES

Timber & Tanner Trading Co.
Dads love leather things. Leather wallets, leather belts, leather passport holders, all the leather things. You know who makes epic leather things? Timber & Tanner Trading Co. aka Jack Cullinane, a Gold Coaster who makes custom goods Dad will be absolutely stoked on. You should also get yourself some goodies too. We’re big fans.

The Undercurrent
Grab Dad a t-shirt with his favourite local suburb scenes depicted on the back and you’ll be the favourite child for quite awhile. Choose from one of eight suburbs with artwork designed by a local artist and support our beautiful city at the same time. $2 from every shirt is also donated to QLD Surf Lifesaving so there’s that too. Use the code ILOVEDAD for 25% OFF at checkout. Good one The Undercurrent.

The Lobster Shanty
Perhaps your Dad is a dude that doesn’t mind a graphic tee or two. Luckily for you, The Lobster Shanty make many a fun t-shirt (and caps too) with old-school ocean inspired pics printed on, plus a Burleigh one we absolutely love. Chips ahoy.

Drift Trading Co.
Dads like to smell good too and there’s plenty of things to help with that from Drift Trading Co. From car diffusers in natural scents to succulent soap and some of the most beautiful candles around, who says men don’t love a little indulgence.

Gold Coast Longboards
If Dad doesn’t already love to skateboard, he should absolutely get on that. It’s the perfect father/child activity and you potentially enjoy many laughs as you watch him learn. Longboards are the perfect place to start and Gold Coast Longboards have you covered.

Comfort and Calm
Handmade keep cups and coffee cups are perfect for the main man in your life. Comfort and Calm make absolutely beautiful ones in neutral colours Dad will adore. Jac also makes beautiful desk accessories and pieces for the kitchen and it’s all so good. Obviously grab yourself something while you’re at it.
