Isn’t it fun when new food groups enter your life. One of life’s greatest pleasures you might say. Speaking of which, how does a little Japanese Mexican combination sound?
Perfection right. Well prep for pleasure Gold Coasters, that newbie is about to enter your life in the form of a new Nobbys Beach eatery called My Sushi Burrito and you’re going to want to sample it right now.
Found within Hachi Japanese, on the Gold Coast Highway amongst a slew of absolutely incredible eateries, the new lunchtime-only venue is serving up something special to get you through the day.
And that special thing is, in case you haven’t guessed it, a sushi burrito.
Yes friends, sushi rolled into a burrito in an array of mouthwatering flavours that you should get very excited about.
Asian Spicy Tuna for example. It’s got fresh tuna, yellow capsicum, cucumber, avocado, sesame, tempura flakes, black rice and spicy gochujang sauce.
There’s also a Salmon Miso Butter sushi burrito with grilled salmon, yellow capsicum, red cabbage, carrot, green oak, cucumber, tempura flakes and miso butter sauce.
How about a Mexican Beef with spiced beef rib, cherry tomato, mixed beans, coriander, corn, green oak, cheddar cheese and marie rose sauce or the Samurai Chicken with panko crumbed chicken breast, red cabbage, carrot, green oak, avocado, cream cheese, fried garlic and JP katsu sauce.
Amazing right? And all absolutely delicious let us tell you. Yes, we tried them all.
Also, you may build your own burrito if that tickles your fancy.
You can also get karaage chicken and chips in packs to both eat in and takeaway, salads and packs of sashimi too.
To drink there are juices, kombuchas, beers and soft drinks.
Exciting times Gold Coasters, get down there and show them some love.
