Now in its 2nd year, SmokeFest GC will be an incredible weekend of BBQ, beer and entertainment!

With more BBQ, more beer, more entertainment and more activities, SFGC 22 is shaping up to be one of the marquee events on the Gold Coast calendar.

The event will promote the best local food and drink producers from the Gold Coast and surrounding regions, featuring boutique offerings from a wide range of categories.

We encourage you to sample the many offerings of the day and discover just how much our beautiful region has to offer.

This is an all ages, family friendly event, with activities to cater for even the youngest BBQ lover!

The event will showcase the very best that the Gold Coast has to offer, featuring an exceptional array of food, drink and entertainment produced exclusively in the Gold Coast and surrounding regions.

With a full restructure, the event will now host a selection of local craft breweries and distilleries on-site selling their own products, as well as an impressive selection of food options for the whole family (vegetarian and vegan options as well!). We’ve also ramped up the entertainment, BBQ demos, eating competitions and prizes available on the day!

It will also once again host the SmokeFest GC BBQ competition, with over 30 of Australia’s best competitive BBQ teams battling it out for the title of Grand Champion and a share in over $15,000 in cash and prizes.

Please note that due to COVID legislation, competition teams are not permitted to hand out samples to the general public, however, there will be at least 6 professional low’n’slow BBQ food vendors serving up some of the best BBQ you’ll ever try.
