On The Boards Theatre Co and Legend House Announces the official Southeast Queensland Production of Music Theatre International’s All Together Now!
A Global Event Celebrating Local Theatre Performances to take place November 12, 2021, at the Star Theatre, Gold Coast.

This is a fantastic selection of songs featured in a brand-new musical revue from shows including Les Misérables, Sister Act, Matilda, Hairspray, Disney’s Newsies, Little Shop of Horrors, Green Day’s American Idiot, Mamma Mia! and many more.

Southeast Queensland’s – On The Boards Theatre Co. (OTBTC) and Legend House (LH) announced that they will be joining thousands of theatrical organisations around the globe by producing their own local production of Music Theatre International’s All Together Now!: A Global Event Celebrating Local Theatre.

Theatrical licensor Music Theatre International (MTI) created this revue for theatres across the globe to use as a local fundraising event performed over the same weekend of November 12, 2021. OTBTC and LHI’s performances are scheduled for 12 and 13 November.

All Together Now! features songs from MTI’s beloved catalogue of musicals including Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s Mary Poppins, Hairspray, Les Misérables, Little Shop of Horrors, Mamma Mia, Sister Act, Songs for a New World, James and the Giant Peach, Disney’s Newsies and many more!

Over 90 performers, musicians and community theatre companies have joined together to make theatre history by staging the first-ever MTI global fundraiser – ALL TOGETHER NOW (ATN!) at the Star Gold Coast.

Currently over 5200 productions are set to take to the stage on this same weekend, globally.

ATN! is about bringing people back to theatre, whether as audience or cast members, crew, or musicians, and this is a great opportunity to bridge talented people of varying backgrounds, cultures and physical abilities.

In the Southeast Queensland production, we hope to draw from a variety of races, genders, abilities, body types, and sizes, to spread diversity as best we can across all the roles in the production. We want this production of ATN! to reflect our community and what theatre means to us all. We want our cast and crew, and our community to have a blast and importantly, to remind everyone why theatre is such an important part of our community.

Hope that you’ll join with us in bringing this vision to life. All together now!
