The Chef’s Favourites menu worth hanging up your apron for

An impromptu date night at Garden Kitchen & Bar? Why not!

There’s already a great list of reasons to get yourself to Garden Kitchen & Bar, from the free live music, epic sunset sessions and tasty eats galore, but now the team have indeed surpassed themselves with a new Chef’s Favourites 4-course set menu you cannot miss!

Because deep down, we know that delicious food from a hand-picked menu is just far too easy and tasty to pass up — after all, sometimes it’s just lovely to sit back and not have to think about what you’d like off the menu. Just bring us the scrumptious food and plenty of it please!

So you really are set to be spoilt when you order yourself the Blooming Set Menu. Be it lunch or dinner; you can enjoy this collection of mouth-watering food for a limited time only, just for the month of April.

As we go into a cooler time of year, the food offering is cleverly geared towards slightly heartier fare and all with a local and seasonal slant. I mean, after all, we have fantastic produce in this little corner of Queensland: why would we ever need to look elsewhere?

The menu starts with fresh House Baked Focaccia and a Sundried tomato and olive tapenade that will have you dipping to your heart’s content.

Now that you find yourself settled in, next up is a striking House Cured Ocean Trout with a Mount Tamborine avocado cream and quinoa salad. If that doesn’t say yum to you — we don’t know what will!

For the main, the Chefs have decided to dazzle you with some succulent Sunshine Coast Lamb Loin accompanied by Fondant kipfler potatoes, pickled baby zucchini and drizzled with a delectable jus. But if you are really aiming to impress, why not splurge on the Oakey Angus Eye Fillet – which is only $10pp extra. We think this is a worthy investment.

Should you have room after all this (we think you do), then the dessert dished up will be a Silky chocolate hazelnut raspberry bar, perfectly matched with a generous scoop of Baileys ice cream, because why not?

Priced at $65pp, we think this is undoubtedly the type of menu you may need to revisit a second or even third/fourth/fifth time. Bon appetite!
