Celebrate Valentine’s Day in exquisite style at The Star Gold Coast

Spoil the love of your life.

Love is well and truly in the air Gold Coasters and you know what that means, it’s time to start thinking about the very best way to show your better half just how much they mean to you via everyone’s favourite activities, eating and drinking.

Now of course, you can (and should) spoil the love of your life on any and every night but there’s something about Valentine’s Day that makes it extra special. Particularly because your favourite venues pull out all the stops to make it a very fancy night indeed.

The Star Gold Coast are doing exactly that this February 14th and as usual, there are several exceptional options to choose from to ensure brownie points for days (years even).

Starting with an absolutely magical evening overlooking the city and the sea at Nineteen at The Star. Now as you’d know if you’ve had the pleasure of visiting the stunning space before, the cuisine there is unrivalled. Throw in a five-star view and a plush, relaxing dining room and you’ve got yourself the night of your dreams.

On Valentine’s Day, the team at Nineteen at The Star are serving up an exquisite five-course set menu for $150 per person including a glass of Ruinart Blanc de Blancs Champagne.

The menu is as delightful as you’d expect with dishes like Appellation Oysters, Southern Crab Cakes with sweet corn and tomato fondue, Grilled Patagonian Toothfish and Grain-Fed Fillet Steak with cultivated mushroom. Not to mention the most delicious mashed potato in all of the world (trust us). There’s also dessert and a little take home treat for the ladies. Perfection.

Choose from a 5.30pm or 8.00pm setting.

If a garden wonderland style of situation is more your thing, Garden Kitchen & Bar is the place to be.

Book a table for two from 5pm and delight in a shared champagne menu from $89 per person.

If you’d prefer to go your own way, you may order from the a-la-carte menu and discover a blossoming new restaurant and cocktail menu.

Regardless of which you choose, you’re guaranteed to have a beautiful, relaxing night to remember at The Star Gold Coast but get in quick, places are going quickly and you don’t want to be the one left with no plans the night before Valentine’s Day (again).

Locals Simon Gloftis and Billy Cross are set to absolutely revolutionise the Gold Coast’s dining scene.

The moment we’ve all been waiting for will finally arrive this Saturday (March 24th) when nineteen at The Star Gold Coast swings open its solid gold (may be made up) doors.

The high-end restaurant and bar, located on the top level of The Darling in Broadbeach, is pure sophistication unrivaled by any other venue the Gold Coast (and perhaps Australia) has ever seen.

Stepping inside you’ll glide down a curved stairway and be met with sweeping ocean and city views via floor to ceiling windows, stone flooring, a sparkling chandelier and of course, the piece de resistance, an infinity pool from which dreams are made.

nineteen’s colour palette features jeweled hues of teal and ocean blue reminiscent of the Coast’s natural landscape, oozing luxury and ensuring you feel as though you’ve stepped into a glittering wonderland.

As expected, the 110 seat restaurant area will deliver an exceptional, produce-driven dining experience with signature dishes including a Rock Lobster Bolognese and a 400g Wagyu Sirloin Kiwami MB9 (an Australian first and premium dish designed for two).

A custom designed wine room boasts space for 1500 bottles and the bar area offers somewhat of a lighter feel, perfect for after work cocktails or a night of dancing with the girls.

Of course, there’s an exclusive private dining area complete with its own bar and a cognac wall (doesn’t that sounds delightful) to create a completely bespoke experience. Let us know what that’s like hey.

The long-awaited venue is the baby of local restauranteur Simon Gloftis and event promoter Billy Cross and is set to absolutely revolutionise the Gold Coast’s dining scene.

Created for those who crave a truly high class experience, nineteen at The Star Gold Coast is set to be THE place for cutting edge dining with the added bonus of international DJs and plenty of dancing late into the night.

Count. Us. In.

NRL fans nationwide are gearing up for what’s set to be one of the biggest weekends in the code’s history, and we are rucking excited. Never one to miss a beat when it comes to live and loud sporting action, the GC’s home of sports viewing, Sports Bar at The Star Gold Coast, is also prepping for the spec-TACKLE-ular season kick-off on Sunday 3rd March.

Now for those who aren’t NFL-inclined or have perhaps been living under a rock, bLASphemy coz this opening round will be an absolute bLASt (#clues). That’s right, we’re hard launching ‘our’ footy to our NFL loving friends in the US of A, by way of two unmissable games in the OG Sin City. No, not the defunct club in Orchard, but actual Las Vegas and guys, the players gonna play play play play play play #StillSwifting.

If a trip to Vegas doesn’t really work in with your budget, firstly, can relate, and secondly, this Plan B trumps Plan A and pls don’t read into our use of the word trump. The atmosphere at Sports Bar will be just as touchdown-tastic and, because we love a good community service announcement, we feel it’s our duty to inform the GC people that these iconic games will not be shown on free to air #shooketh. This means one thing and one thing only – all roads lead to Sports Bar and really, like we even needed an excuse.

For background funsies, four teams have been chosen to compete in the Vegas season launch, playing back-to-back games. Join us at Sports Bar to witness history in the making from Allegiant Stadium with the Sea Eagles taking on the Rabbitohs on Sunday 3rd March at 12.30pm AEST. Next up at 2.30pm AEST, it’s our almighty Broncos’ (bow down) doing what they do best against the Roosters, and hell hath no fury like a 2023 runner up team vying for top dog.

What goes hand-in-hand with NRL and duh, SCRUM-ptious food of course. Naturally, Sports Bar is coming to the table (literally) with all the crowd favourites, including other burgers and chips coz #USA, and an array of sumptuous snacks. It’s a MATCH made in heaven.

Like your NRL and nosh served with a hearty side of entertainment and again, you’ve come to the right place. There’ll be an MC, cheerleaders flexing their spirit fingers, and even an ex-NRL player so BYO autograph book. Then, after cheering your team to victory, you can celebrate (or commiserate…) at Atrium Bar with a live DJ until 12am. Score!
