Introduction
This Contest will be governed by these standard terms and conditions and accompanying Contest Details (collectively the “Terms”). Each entrant agrees that he/she has read and understood these Terms and by their participation in the Contest, each entrant agrees to be bound by the Terms.
The Organizers of the Contest is Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Gold Coast (71 Sea World Drive, Main Beach QLD 4217) and Inside Gold Coast (1/15-17 Dover Dr, West Burleigh QLD 4220) (“Organizer”) which shall be solely responsible for the execution and administration of this Contest.
Eligibility to Enter
Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over.
Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child, or stepchild (whether natural or by adoption), parent, stepparent, grandparent, step grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, stepbrother, stepsister or first cousin.
Promotional Period
The Promotion commences at 9:00 AEST on Friday 3rd May 2024 and closes at Midnight AEST on Wednesday 31st July, 2024.
Entry Requirements
To enter, individuals must complete the following steps during the Promotion Period:
– Complete the competition form
– Entrants must complete all required fields in order to be eligible to win the prize. Required fields include full name, email, contact number, postcode and country.
– Entrants must opt-in to both the Inside Gold Coast & Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort Gold Coast email marketing database
This is a game of chance, and the winner will be selected at random.
The winning entry, as determined by the Organizers, will receive one prize (Supplied as a gift voucher);
– Win an experience at Pearls Bar for you and a friend, to the value of $400. Prize includes your choice of designer cocktail per person, additional drinks of your choice and a selection of delicious bar bites.
The prize does not include airport transfers, or any additional costs incurred.
The organizer is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
No cash alternative to the prize will be offered. The prize is not transferable. Prize is subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
The prize can only redeemed from 6 months post receiving the issued gift voucher.
The winner will be decided by The Organizer’s and will be notified by email or phone. Confirmation will also be emailed to the winner, which they must present upon arrival to the event.
Once the winner has been contacted and confirmed, the promoter will publish the name of the winner to the competition landing page for 28 days.
If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within seven days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
The organizer’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final.
The organizer reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice or in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control.
By entering the Contest, each participant agrees that:
– any and all personal data submitted may be collected, used and/or disclosed to Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Gold Coast and Inside Gold Coast for various purposes, including to communicate with the participant for purposes related to the Contest, to provide goods and services to the participant upon request, and such other purposes Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Gold Coast and Inside Gold Coast may reasonably deem appropriate, or in relation to which the participant has otherwise provided Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Gold Coast and Inside Gold Coast with consent;
– participant agrees to receive email marketing from Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Gold Coast and Inside Gold Coast
– The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, including the photographs or audio-video or other recordings of these participants (“Material”) for publicity and/or use in advertisements across all media, including, without limitation, in Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Gold Coast and Inside Gold Coast publications, presentations, promotional materials on their websites or social media platforms, in its original or edited format, and whether to promote the Contest / Lucky Draw or otherwise without further notification, remuneration or compensation; and
– The copyright and all other intellectual property rights in and to all Material shall vest solely and absolutely in Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Gold & Inside Gold Coast without further compensation.

The Inside Gold Coast (Promoter – of Unit 1/15-17 Dover Dr, Burleigh Heads, QLD, 4220) ‘WIN a copy of What I Would Do To You’ competition commences Thursday 18 April at 1pm AEST. The competition ends Friday 3 May at 9am AEST. To enter, the entrant must complete the Inside Gold Coast E-Newsletter Subscription Form on the Inside Gold Coast Magazine Inside Book Club webpage. (https://www.insidegoldcoast.com.au/inside-book-club). Employees of the Promoter or Prize Supplier or their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition shall not be permitted to enter the competition. The winner will be drawn by a random generator on the date specified by the Promoter. The winner will be contacted by Inside Gold Coast via email within 48 hours of the draw. The selected winner has a designated time to respond to the email and claim their prize. If the winner fails to respond within this time frame stipulated in the email, the prize will be forfeited and submitted for a redraw. The prize awarded for the ‘WIN a copy of What I Would Do To You’ competition will include the prizes stipulated above. The total prize value is $25. The prize must be redeemed from the Promoter’s address above within 2 weeks of the draw date. The prize does not include postage to the winner. The prize is not redeemable for cash, credit or product, and no exchanges are offered. The prize must also be redeemed all at once. Entries into this competition are deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the terms and conditions of the Promoter.
