The Sunset Run

Australia’s most desirable supercar event is gearing up for its third and most extravagant installment yet, all while driving mental health into the spotlight.

The Sunset Run and LIVIN are rolling out the carpet for onlookers to marvel at a $20 million convoy of Australia’s most prestigious and exotic supercars, as they set to descend on Southeast Queensland on 2 March.

The brainchild of supercar enthusiast, ex-racer and Her Supercar Life (HSL) founder Rachael Reid, The Sunset Run has successfully raised $58,150 for the charity LIVIN over its course, showcasing automotive excellence while breaking down the stigma around mental health.

‘Two years ago, we introduced the Sunset Run to bring supercar and lifestyle enthusiasts together, showcasing the best in dining, entertainment, and driving experiences, all bundled into this one-of-a-kind event,’ says Rachael.

‘This is far more than just a supercar rally, the Sunset Run provides a unique avenue for participants to create lasting memories and contribute to a worthy cause by raising funds for the LIVIN charity.’

The Sunset Run’s third instalment ‘Chase the Sun’ elevates the event’s exclusivity, with a supercar entry fee starting at $1595 per person, offering an itinerary that reads like a tick-box of the Gold Coast’s most coveted luxury attractions.

Breakfast at Rivermead Estate, a scenic drive through Gold Coast Hinterland, a high tea pitstop at Beechmont Estate, a chef’s lunch at the hatted Social Eating House, a shutdown of Oracle Boulevard, and a private sunset cruise on a 130 ft superyacht are just a taste of the day’s extravagance.

Event organisers are anticipating a lineup of 40 supercars, making Southeast Queensland, already home to Australia’s highest concentration of supercars, the perfect host for this unique spectacle. ‘The Sunset Run isn’t just a supercar rally for a worthy cause,’ says Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate. ‘It will boost our local economy and showcase the Gold Coast and South East Queensland as top-tier, premier destinations for luxury events. Bring it on!’

For those seeking to delve deeper into the world of supercars, registrations are still open.
