Sand, Sea & Steins: Oktoberfest at Stone & Wood

Stone & Wood are bringing the spirit of Oktoberfest to the heart of Byron Bay on Saturday, 2 October as they fill the brewery with fresh German beer, food and live music.

In tribute to the world’s biggest beer festival taking place in Munich, the Stone & Wood brewers will tap two German-style beers, especially for the event: a Hefeweizen (hazy wheat beer) and a Dunkel (a dark German lager), while the legends in the 100 Mile kitchen will be serving the big German hits: Bratwurst sausages and pretzels.

By the tanks, our brewers will be decked out in “tracht” (traditional costume) and ready to talk visitors through the history and process of making our German brews, while in our sunny courtyard, local musicians will be taking the stage ready to get the party atmosphere started.

For those looking for their favourite Stone & Wood beer, our core range will still be flowing fresh from the taps, with Sunly Seltzers and Little Dragon Ginger Beer also available.

With prizes for best dressed and open from 11am-6pm, Stone & Wood’s Oktoberfest is walk-ins only, so there’s no need to book, just come on down.
