Which leads us to the point of this story – it is time to embrace the upcoming season and all the delightful treats it brings while overlooking the stunningly sparkly waterway that is Currumbin Creek.
At Deck Creekside Bar to be precise. In honour of spring the crew have created not one but two new cocktails to add to their already exceptional menu and you might want to plan your next few Sundays in advance because you won’t want to miss these tasty tipples.
The Cur-Rum-Bam and the Local Espress feature locally made rum and Pure Cane from local distiller, Husk Distillers and they are the goods you guys.
The Cur-Rum-Bam is made up of Spiced Bam Bam rum and a delicious mix of Husk Distillers Pure Cane, fresh pineapple juice, secret vanilla mix and muddled lime. It’s fresh and spicy and all of your cocktail dreams come true.
The Local Espress is a fun twist on your beloved Espresso Martini and features a vanilla infused mix with Husk Distillers Pure Cane and Spiced Bam Bam. It’ll definitely cure what ails ya.
As you know, a cocktail sipping session is incomplete without an array of eats to accompany it. Share plates are your best bet and Deck Creekside Bar have quite the selection.
The Asian inspired share plate features handcrafted Shanghai pork spring rolls, sticky pork balls, and tempura pork belly served with dipping sauces. YUM.
The Vegetarian Antipasto share plate includes delicious dolmades, falafels, home-made hummus, Australian olives, fetta, guindillas, semi dried tomatoes, artichokes, roasted peppers and sourdough. So all the best things.
Not only that, every Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoon some of the Coast’s best acoustic artists will treat your ears to their sweet tunes.
