SeaFire 2025

SeaFire, the Gold Coast’s beloved international fireworks competition, returns this May with an exciting new format. In response to the impacts of Tropical Cyclone Alfred and unusually high tides, the event has been modified to ensure community safety while continuing to deliver a world-class experience.

This year, for the first time ever, SeaFire will take place simultaneously across four locations. That means you can experience the same spectacular fireworks show at the same time – no matter where you choose to watch from.

Viewing Locations:

• Surfers Paradise Foreshore
• Broadbeach – Kurrawa
• Broadwater Parklands
• HOTA Parklands (Home of the Arts)

Each location will feature the full 18-minute fireworks display, starting at 7:00 PM sharp. The show will include performances from international competitors Belgium and the USA, and finish with a spectacular Australian fireworks finale.

Getting There
Public transport is recommended. Use Translink’s journey planner to map your trip in advance. If driving, please note that parking is limited. For metered parking, use the EasyPark app to manage your parking from your phone.
