The mastermind behind the bowl bonanza is Songfei Yuan, a culinary curator with a knack for blending big taste with low fuss. With a dream of creating delicious fast food that doesn’t break the bank, Yuan has dished up food that’s fun, fresh and full of soul.
Let’s talk a-bowl-t the vibe. Designed by the talented folks at Ni Design and brought to life by Simoom Construction, Uncle Bowl serves up style. Clean lines, soft neutral tones, natural timber finishes and a splash of minimalism. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to stay even if you dropped in just for a quick bite. It’s casual comfort meets Instagrammable eats.
And what really bowls you over is the food. Uncle Bowl’s menu is a tour-de-tastebud across Asia, designed to cater to every eater, from carnivores to vegans and the eat-eveything folks in-between.
Whether you’re team Tonkatsu Pork or you’ve got a thing for Torched Salmon Avo, there’s a bowl with your name on it. And yes, there’s even a Plant-Based Schnitzel that’s so convincing, your meat-loving mate might just make the switch.
For those who like a bit of control with their cuisine there’s the build-your-own-bowl option, a DIY dream that lets you customise your base, toppings and flavour profile. Rice, slaw, salad mix or Hoki noodles – whatever floats your bowl.
