Surf World Gold Coast

Surf World Gold Coast is Queensland’s one and only surfing museum, purely dedicated to celebrating the rich history and culture of Queensland surfing from the early 1930s to today.

The exhibition showcases an impressive collection of surf boards, all ranging in evolutionary design and technology. There’s incredible surf photography throughout, portraying early-day surf scenes, amazing artwork including surf movie posters and album covers, cinematography and other incredible surf memorabilia.

Surf World is a community-based organisation that is run entirely by volunteers.

Be immersed as you learn the local history of Queensland’s surf culture and explore your way through contemporary art works and a photo gallery that showcases surfing champions throughout the ages.
