Pokkoi Brings Bold Flavors to Coolangatta

Pokkoi, Coolangatta’s new Asian fusion hotspot, combines vibrant rainforest vibes with bold, zesty dishes. Owned by Rachael Nguyen, who moved from New Zealand to bring her culinary expertise to Australia, Pokkoi is as much about the experience as it is about the food. With lush greenery and fairy lights creating a chic, tropical atmosphere, it’s the perfect setting for any occasion.

The menu, crafted by chef Cameron Knox, is a journey of flavors. Highlights include Hiramasa Kingfish with turmeric coconut, a rich Beef Rendang Donut, and a crispy Barramundi dry red curry with pickled chili and cashews. For those who can’t choose, the $100 Taste Me Menu offers a 10-course degustation, curated by the chef.

Drinks are just as exciting, with the Thai Tea Cocktail being a must-try. And don’t miss the Popcorn Cheesecake – the perfect sweet finish.
