Harahetta Ramen brings authentic Japanese flavors to Coolangatta, offering a warm, beachside escape with a menu full of mouthwatering ramen and Japanese-inspired dishes. The newest hotspot in the area, Harahetta Ramen is the brainchild of Hiroshi and Sarah Takeyama, who previously ran the popular Goukai Ramen in Burleigh. Drawing on Hiroshi’s training as a Ramen Chef in Tokyo, the couple has created a vibrant new venue that blends modern style with rich, satisfying traditional flavors.
With a menu featuring eight signature ramen dishes – like the Original Ramen, Spicy Ramen, and Shio Ramen with Yuzu – Harahetta Ramen is a paradise for ramen lovers. The restaurant also offers a variety of rice bowls, gyoza, karaage, and the refreshing Lemon Chu Hi, a Japanese drink perfect for pairing with your meal. The cozy, moody fit-out, designed by Sarah’s dad Peter Arnold, transports diners straight to Japan with exposed beams, glossy black tiles, and an intimate atmosphere.
Located just steps from the beach, Harahetta Ramen offers a perfect combination of delicious food, a relaxed vibe, and a welcoming atmosphere, making it a must-visit destination in Coolangatta.
