Where will you be this New Year’s Eve?

This is it Gold Coasters, the end of the year is almost upon us and if you haven’t already prepped your party plan, you really are living on the edge.

Not to worry though, we of the party-loving persuasion have scoped out the very best events come December 31st and gathered them together right here to make your life that little bit easier. Best of all, every single event can be found in the exact same place, which is UNHEARD OF but also extra fun.

Surprise (not really), they’re at The Star Gold Coast and you may choose from a picnic on The Lawn, an exceptional feast at one of the even-more-exceptional restaurants and a big old balloon drop. How good.

Here’s every option available for your party-choosing pleasure.

Garden Kitchen & Bar
There’s a couple of options to ring in the New Year in this beautiful space. The first of which is picnic on The Lawn including a three-hour beverage package with snack food like a charcuterie plate and Angus beef sliders (among other tasty things). That option is $999 for eight people. There’s also a set menu is the restaurant section with two sittings – 5pm and 8pm – including a four-hour beverage package and entertainment for $180*pp. Both of those sound pretty perfect if you ask us.

Cucina Vivo
An Italian extravaganza sounds like a delightful way to say hello to 2020 don’t you think? At Cucina Vivo you can indulge in a three-course share menu between 5pm and 7pm, or a five-course degustation menu with a three-hour beverage package from 8pm. Adults are just $77.17* pp. As you’d no doubt know, the dishes at The Star Gold Coast’s Italian venue are absolutely incredible so this is quite the plan.

Kiyomi
Executive Chef Chase Kojima is an absolute wizard when it comes to creating fresh, delicious AND stunning dishes that are almost too good to eat. On New Years Eve you can (and should) join the team for a set, shared menu (for two people) plus a glass of champagne on arrival for $149.20* pp. Do your tastebuds a favour and make your last meal of 2019 one to remember.

Nineteen at The Star
Views over the city and the sea from one of the Gold Coast’s most impressive restaurants is a good idea. Throw in a little bit of dancing and a five or seven-course set menu and you’ve got yourself one of the very best New Year’s Eve times. The Sunset Menu from 5.30 until 8.30pm is $160pp with children 12 and under $75 each and the Moonlight Menu is $220pp from 8.30pm onwards. The fanciest way to bid farewell to 2019.

Imperial at The Star
Treat yourself to a tasty Chinese feast at Imperial at The Star this New Year’s Eve. Their much-loved a la carte menu is on offer with a complimentary drink on arrival from 5.30pm. If a relaxing dinner in a fun atmosphere is your idea of a good time, look no further than this one.

Harvest Buffet
Eating a variety of extremely delicious things is the perfect plan and you can do exactly that at Harvest Buffet. Sip on a complimentary glass of bubbles as you feast on the very best selection of hot and cold seafood, carvery stations, salads, cheeses and desserts. All of the things. The first seating is from 5.30pm until 7.15pm and the second is from 7.30pm until 10pm. Adults are $101.87*pp, children aged 5 to12 are $40pp and up to four years are free. Take the family and celebrate with all the tasty plates.
