There are a few quintessential things that hark the arrival of spring here on the Gold Coast and one of those happens to be the commencement of the Spring Racing Season at the Gold Coast Turf Club, where great hospitality, unparalleled glamour, and high stakes collide under a continuously sunny sky. It’s high time to dust off your fascinators — or just get a whole new wardrobe assembled in preparation — as events will be getting underway from Saturday 9th October.

The Gold Coast Turf Club has long been a part of the Gold Coast social scene and an epic venue to hang out for a day and live the excitement of the races — the Spring Racing Carnival is certainly an exceptional occasion for all those concerned.

Part of this year’s calendar sees the arrival of two completely new venues to the club, Glasshouse and The Perch.  These stunning new spaces have replaced the well-known Dome and will provide racegoers with the usual socialising mixed with incredible comfort whilst staying a part of the action. The contemporary open-plan design offers a brand new upper level (The Perch) which elevates patrons to view the horses running down the final straight of the track. While the new modern-designed lower level (Glasshouse) incorporates glass doors and allows larger capacity functions than its predecessor — the perfect place to sip cocktails, have a punt, and look glamorous.

Presented by Moët & Chandon, the series will commence Saturday (9 October), with the Caulfield Guineas, before Saturday (16 October) holds host to the Caulfield Cup, and rounding off with the Cox Plate on Saturday 23rd October. For all three big race days, you can join the celebrations and be a part of a ticketed event you won’t forget in a hurry. Tickets are on sale now at $195 per person, which includes: entry to the racecourse and cocktail lounge-style non-reserved seating in Glasshouse (with racetrack viewing from The Perch), a whopping 5-hour premium beverage package featuring lashings of Moët Imperial Brut Champagne, a grazing style menu with dessert included, and your very own race book with details of every race. Your day is well and truly set!

Make all three events, mingle your way through two, or even just come and strut your stuff for one of the days; either way, spice up this October’s Saturdays with a pinch of opulence and a slice of frolicsome behaviour at the Gold Coast’s Spring Racing Season events.

When: Saturday 9th/16th/23rd October
