Get ready to soak up the vibes GC! Our very own Surfers Paradise is turning up the zen with the arrival of Lan Bathhouse, the splashy new self-care sanctuary (opening its doors on Thursday 17th April 2025) at the iconic Paradise Centre.

Sitting pretty just a flip-flop away from Surfers Paradise beach, this luxe new bathhouse is bathing the Gold Coast in a whole new light – one magnesium-infused bubble at a time.

Founded by two besties who swapped baby bottles for bath bombs and turned post-mum life into a powerhouse of purpose, Lan isn’t your average dip-and-dash day spa.

This delightful duo set out to build something beautiful together. Something with jets, journeys and a deeply intentional, heart-soaked place where wellness meets wow, we are frothing at the result.

Inside, Lan Bathhouse is serving up serious R&R realness. We’re talking six steamy spas infused with magnesium goodness, all set to make your muscles melt and your stress evaporate faster than an influencer’s phone battery at golden hour.

Four of the spas sit at a toasty 38°C, while the 24°C spa offers a cooler dip for those who like their chill with a side of calm. And if you’re feeling extra icy, the 12°C cold plunge pool is ready to jolt your senses and boost your circulation like a double-shot espresso minus the jitters.

But Lan isn’t just about floating your troubles away, it’s about connection, empowerment and getting back in touch with yourself. Beyond the bathwater, you’ll find a curated selection of wellness therapies that’ll have you swooning with serenity.

Think massages that untie every knot (including the mental ones), body treatments that exfoliate your worries, head spa sessions that make your stress evaporate faster than parking spots in Burleigh on a Sunday, and even singing bowl healing. Yep. The actual Piece De Resistance #IYKYK.

Also, because no relaxation experience is complete without a sneaky sip, Lan Bathhouse is also pouring up perfection at its onsite bar. Whether you’re into wellness tonics, a nice glass of vino or a perfectly mixed cocktail to round off your soak, this joint is where intention and indulgence clink glasses.

For just $99 a year, you can join the Lan Fam and enjoy unlimited bathhouse access, exclusive perks, and the smug satisfaction of knowing you’ve nailed the whole “balance” thing. It’s like a gym membership, but instead of lunges and burpees, it’s all steam and serenity.
