GARDEN KITCHEN & BAR – All day offering
The ol’ man has the tough choice between the Garden Kitchen & Bar’s Lunch & Dinner service or their Lawn offering. Dine at the award-winning restaurant and treat him to delicious dishes from the seasonal a la carte menu which boasts only the freshest local ingredients. The Chefs have even carefully created a hero dish for the day that will no doubt be a massive hit with the daddio. May we introduce to you the irresistible Smoked White Pyrenees Lamb Ribs with House-made BBQ Sauce, Thick Cut Chips and Aioli, available for $38.
If sitting outdoors is more up dads ally, as the sun begins to dip, enjoy the Spring weather with tasty burgers from the Container Kitchen, icy-cold beverages, and live music from the Lawn. The burger line-up includes one worth noting, the mouth-watering Chargrilled 100% Angus Beef Burger with Beer Battered Onion Rings and Aioli, for just $19. Or shout dad the Burger & Beer Combo, which also includes a schooner of XXXX Gold.
NINETEEN AT THE STAR – Lunch service
Level up Father’s Day and opt for lunch with a view (that cannot be matched) and indulge the main man in a stunning 4-course set menu at the Gold Coast’s most sought-after rooftop destination venue. Take in the sweeping views of the Broadbeach and the Pacific Ocean while savouring Signature Oysters and Oscietra Caviar with Potato Terrine on arrival before enjoying the following three gorgeous courses:
Four options await you for entrée, with dishes like Sage and Brown Butter Pumpkin Risotto and Grass-Fed Tartare, Old Bay Chips, and Yolk Sauce making things undeniably challenging to choose! Things don’t get any easier with the main course either, as fresh Ocean Trout, Slow Roast Prime Rib and a Shallot Tarte Tatin for vegetarians are sure to impress all tastebuds concerned. Should your dad deserve some extra special treatment, there’s also the option to upgrade his main to a 400g 6+ Wagyu Scotch Fillet — something we are sure will be warmly welcomed. And if you feel like you can handle the finale, guests are then treated to the Chocolate Meringue Pie with Pedro Ximenez ice cream or a Spanish style Basque Cheesecake.
At Nineteen at The Star, Father’s Day lunch will be served from 12pm – 3pm at $120pp for adults and $50pp for children (kids’ menu available for children 12 years and under).
CUCINA VIVO – Dinner service
While a glamorous Italian sojourn is off the cards at the moment, why not take dad to the decadent tastes of Italy with a mouth-watering 3-course share menu at Cucina Vivo. To start things off, every dad dining can enjoy a complimentary ice-cold schooner of Italian-made Birra Moretti straight off the bat before tucking into some serious Mediterranean styled dishes.
For starters, a classic Margarita a Pizzette will get things rolling with Panzanella Heirloom Tomatoes, Croutons, Basil, Kalamata Olives, and Balsamic. Alongside an always well-received Calamari Fritti. For mains, choose between creamy local Spanner Crab Campanelle pasta or a 300g Stanbroke Scotch Fillet with Masala Wine Jus and all of the trimmings. And to round things off, in true Italian style, tuck into an especially made Tiramisu with lashings of Mascarpone and Espresso – Dad won’t want to share!
Cucina Vivo’s share-style Father’s Day dinner is $75pp or how about you earn some brownie points by upgrading to include wine pairings which each course for $115pp.
All this begs to question, what better way to treat dad on his special day?
