XXXX presents: LIVE AT THE BREWERY

Brisbane’s iconic landmark the XXXX Brewery opens its gates to the public for the first time in 26 years, for an unmissable and unique live experience on Saturday 16 November.

Following a flood of excitement at the announcement of the inaugural XXXX Presents: Live at the Brewery, the team today share the thirst-quenching line up. Along with the undeniable charm that comes with a boutique festival in a 140-year-old brewery, visitors can expect to experience great beer, gourmet bites and while enjoying a live set outdoors, at the base of the XXXX brewery’s unmistakable silos.

A brand as quintessentially ‘Queensland’ as XXXX deserves a line up that would make any Maroons fan proud and bookers Jet Black Cat Music have delivered.

Like malt and barley is to XXXX, HOLY HOLY are a dynamic duo that will take center stage, performing at Live At The Brewery following the release of their third studio album My Own Pool of Light. Originally from Queensland, the now Melbourne based band have an electric live show that is not to be missed.  It’s not a ‘C.O.O.L Party’ without high-octane, Queensland-born-and-bred party starters, Confidence Man. Janet Planet, Sugar Bones, Clarence McGuffie and Reggie Goodchild can knock the froth off any good brew with their funky choreography and charisma.

Lovers of a Milton Mango, Good Boy will join the fun as well as legendary rockers Custard. Melbourne groovers Mildlife and locals vibe kings and queens Nice Biscuit are in charge of warm up duties under the silos. After all of this goes down, a handful of Brisbane’s best local DJs continue the after-party in the XXXX Alehouse.

An opportunity to see the behind the scenes of Queensland’s favourite brewery is one that should not be missed – with extremely limited tickets available, local Brisbanites will surely hop quickly to snatching up tickets. Plus, all ticket-holders get a free brewery tour that’s valid until 30 June 2020 (valued at $32) to revisit and reminisce about one of the most unique festival experiences the city has ever been a part of.
