An exciting opportunity awaits Gold Coast nature lovers and garden enthusiasts. On Saturday, September 14th, the serene Tani Tei En Garden will open to the public for one weekend only, with a major portion of the proceeds being donated to Currumbin Wildlife Hospital and the remainder to Southern Beaches Community Garden.
Tani Tei En Garden is a hidden gem nestled on 11 acres of stunning themed landscapes in Currumbin Valley. Visitors have the chance to explore a tranquil oasis including a Japanese teahouse and garden.
Evelyn Marshall opens her immaculately cared for gardens to the public just once every two years, creating a special community event and donating all the proceeds to charity.
The event is dog-friendly for on leash dogs and there will be food stalls and a coffee van on site. Garden lovers will also have the chance to purchase plants, making it possible to take a piece of Tani Tei En home.
Currumbin Wildlife Hospital head of fundraising Georgia Lane said they are honoured to be chosen as the main charity for the open garden.
