Sounds Dangerous Festival

GET READY TO BE LIT GOLD COAST!

After such a tumultuous two years for the live music scene and entertainment sectors, masked local artist, King Killjoy and artist Zola Sky has created a not-for-profit extravaganza titled Sounds Dangerous Festival.   The unique event features 16 bands, playing over 9 hours of nonstop live music and a wide variety of local art instillations at Burleigh Bazaar this weekend.    The Independent festival will come to a spectacular end with headlining artist King Killjoy setting himself on fire under the direction of a Hollywood stunt team!

The International stunt team responsible for films such as ‘Mad Max: Fury Road, ‘The Suicide Squad, and ‘Xmen Dark Phoenix have curated the daring stunt specifically for Sounds Dangerous Festival.     Lauren Paszkowski, (music artist Zola Sky) and the director of Ambition Agency has thrown her weight behind the organisation of the festival.   Lauren has previously worked with the likes of One Direction, J-Lo, Bruno Mars and the St Kilda Festival.

Sounds Dangerous Festival features King Killjoy, Bootleg Rascal, Stingin’ Rogers, Lazy Ghost, Saint Lane, Sofia, Isella, Zola Sky, Amela, Lavelin, V.Blaq, Disko Disco, Saint Barae, More Sugar, Penrose, Jake Hobbs and Native Concept.  All playing for a massive 9 hours nonstop in this live music extravaganza.

Acid Test, a multidisciplinary art collective specializing in video art, light-based performance, sculpture and interactive painting installations are assisting in making the Sounds Dangerous Festival a visual and sensory experience.  Hype Republic, a production company responsible for videos from world-class artists including Twenty One Pilots, Parkway Drive, Amy Shark, Dune Rats, Bliss n Eso and DMA’s also plays a major contribution to this unique one-time event.

Sounds Dangerous is a completely independent celebration of local industry supporting each other for the love of it, putting on a show like nothing the Gold Coast has seen before, and may never see again.
