On March 29 and 30, the highly acclaimed Flying Fruit Fly Circus return to HOTA with their exhilarating new, fun-filled show, JUNK.
Stepping back in time, this thrilling circus adventure is set in a rural junkyard in a time when playing in the street with the kids on the block was the greatest fun of all.
JUNK is an inventive exploration of the changing world of childhood, set in a time before kids were glued to screens, and used their imagination to transform everyday items into a magical landscape of thrilling circus adventures.
Australia’s world-famous national youth circus tells this heartfelt story through a wonderful production featuring seventeen young artists who will take audience’s breath away with jaw-dropping acrobatics, magical shadow puppetry and worldclass circus skills.
The spectacular showcase also includes voices of these elders as sound sources, along with rhythmic changes and verses from skipping and hopscotch that bring to life the energy and skills of the extraordinary young circus artists.
