The Star Gold Coast will celebrate one of Australia’s largest free music festivals with a free Jon Stevens concert this May as part of the iconic Blues on Broadbeach.
Following packed out concerts for Diesel and Russell Morris for the 2016 and 2017 Festivals, The Star is excited to once again be hosting the free and exclusive event with Jon Stevens taking the stage in the Theatre on Friday May 18.
The New Zealand Star has had phenomenal success known for his role in Jesus Christ Superstar, as a solo artist and as the lead singer of major rock acts Noiseworks and INXS. He has recently teamed up with Dave Stewart from Eurythmics to record his new album Starlight.
Stevens stands virtually alone in the music scene, with a raw vocal power that won him attention first as a teenager and now as a veteran singer and songwriter. Time has toughened his delivery while tapping into his emotional wellsprings more than ever before.
Tickets to the concert are FREE and only available for collection in person at the Box Office at The Star. The first release will be available from 9am on Friday May 11 until the allocation is exhausted. The second and final release of tickets will be available from 9am on Friday May 18 until the allocation is exhausted.
