Oct 30 - Oct 31
If there’s one thing we have in common with the Irish, it’s our love of seafood and ice-cold stout. So, you can only imagine our excitement when the Gold Coast’s longest standing Irish Pub, D’Arcy Arms announced it was going to pip its ancestors to the post by celebrating the iconic Galway Oyster & Seafood Festival on 30th – 31st October!
The ingenious event was established back in 1954 to celebrate Galway’s rich annual oyster harvest. It’s since become one of the largest internationally recognised Irish events, after St Patrick’s Day, attracting millions of visitors to its shores over the years to gleefully indulge in tons of the famous native Galway oysters – washed down with Champagne and stout of course.
