Frothtoberfest: Oktoberfest at Burleigh Brewing

The iconic Taphouse is about to be transformed into the Gold Coast’s most authentic German Beer Hall for a whole month!

Get ready to raise your steins and say “Prost!” as Burleigh Brewing transforms its iconic Taphouse into the Gold Coast’s most authentic German beer hall for Frothtoberfest on Saturday, October 5th! This epic celebration of German culture and craftsmanship promises a day filled with unbeatable brews, live music, and good times.

Frothtoberfest will feature eight exclusive German beers on tap, brewed specially for this event, including Helles, Hefeweizen, and Schwarzbier. For just $30, a ticket includes a limited-edition Frothtoberfest half-litre glass stein filled with one of the eight exclusive German beers.

Guests can also indulge in a variety of delicious offerings from Hail Mary at ‘Burleigh Eats’:

Small Plates:
• Large Breaded Pretzel with Salted Butter
• Fries with Mustard Mayo or Beer Mustard Dipping Sauce
• Currywurst

Large Plates:
• Schnitzel Burger: Fried Schnitzel, shredded lettuce, Our Mary’s Mayo
• Bratwurst Dog: Bratwurst, cheese, pickled red onion/red cabbage, spring onion, mustard mayo, pretzel dust
• Currywurst Dog: Currywurst drenched Bratwurst, cheese, spring onion, pretzel dust

For the adventurous beer enthusiast, Frothtoberfest we will also feature a special experience with Lukáš Svoboda, who operates the ‘Lokal’ pub group in the Czech Republic. Guests can enjoy a special Czech beer pouring experience that emphasizes the art of foam control. Using traditional side-pull taps, these pours create a smooth, creamy head that enhances the beer’s aroma and texture, delivering an authentic taste of Czech brewing. Whether it’s the balanced Hladinka or the indulgent Mlíko pour, this unique method elevates the drinking experience beyond the ordinary.
