Which is why it’s exciting that Cinco de Mayo has come around again and we get to spend the whole weekend fiesta-ing. In case you’ve never indulged in the celebrations, Cinco de Mayo is a festival commemorating the Mexican Army’s unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla in 1862, under the leadership of General Ignacio Zaragoza. Fine by us.

Luxury tequila brand Herradura are bringing their legendary Cinco de Mayo celebrations to Garden Kitchen & Bar on Sunday 5th May. The evening fiesta will celebrate the sophistication, vibrancy and diversity of contemporary Mexican culture on the outside deck.

Your favourite Cooly Mexi-joint is getting in on the action with prizes all weekend with plenty of tequila flowing. There’ll be $5 El Diablo cocktails on offer as well as plenty of good vibes and activities. Happy days.
