Sometimes there are days when getting out of bed is not a thing that happens in time for traditional breakfast hours.

Luckily, some of our favourite Gold Coast cafes have that covered with the option of eating breakfast all day long.

Here are nine options so you never need to miss the most important meal of the day.

Hymn Coffee
Having only opened recently, Hymn Coffee in Tweed Heads is ticking all the breakfast boxes. They’re serving up the delicious eats and quality coffee all day long and the sleek space is well worth a visit no matter which part of the Coast you call home. Eat the Hawker Roll – bacon and eggs on roti because it is amazing.
Where: Shop 2, 99 Kennedy Drive, Tweed Heads

Mr Bengel
Palm Beach favourite Mr Bengel has been making brekky for the people for just over a year and the people are happy about it. Younger sibling of Justin Lane and Harry’s Steak Bistro, Mr Bengel offers the tastiest of goodies including a stack of pancakes that will blow your mind.
Where: 1099 Gold Coast Highway, Palm Beach (between Seventh and Eighth Avenues).

Blackboard Coffee
One of the Gold Coast’s most famous coffee houses, Blackboard also make a mean all day breakfast. The Truffled Eggs with pancetta go down a treat, particularly when you’ve washed them down with a tasty brew. Grab yourself a housemade donut for dessert and you’re one happy breakfast eater.
Where: 7/240 Varsity Parade, Varsity Lakes

Bam Bam Bakehouse
There’s no denying Bam Bam is one of our favourite places on Earth for the most awe-inspiring of sweet treats but did you know they also create culinary breakfast masterpieces? Yep, they do. The Sweet Corn Fritters are really very delicious as is the Bam Bam Benny – a croissant packed with all things Benedict. Yes sir.
Where: 2519 – 2521 Gold Coast Hwy, Mermaid Beach

Elk Espresso
Oh Elk you little sweetheart. Thank you for making breakfast dreams come true. In December the Elk gang made the big move to The Oasis Shopping Centre so there was more space for everyone to enjoy the goodness. The Pineapple Panna Cotta is all kinds of colourful magic with puffed grains, seeds, nuts, fruits and yoghurt and there is also BREAKFAST GNOCCHI. True story.
Where: Beach end of The Oasis Shopping Centre, Old Burleigh Rd, Broadbeach

Everyone’s favourite Nobby’s beachside café is dishing up the nourishing eats for your feasting pleasure. The foods are healthy while also being delicious and everything is worth a taste. The MVP Pancakes are the go, made up of buckwheat and banana pancakes with wild berry compote, vegan honeycomb and coconut icecream. MVP indeed. Catch ya beachside.
Where: 4 Lavarack Rd, Mermaid Beach

Paradox Coffee Roasters
Handcrafted breakfast foods for the win. This Surfers Paradise fave offers one of the best seasonal breakfast menus around alongside epic coffee and plenty of good vibes. Give the Brioche French Toast a run because brioche is life and it has salted peanut parfait on top.
Where: The 4217, 10 Beach Road, Surfers Paradise

Randy Wallhole
This sweet little Southport joint is always a good time with an array of breakfast bowls, jaffles and bagels to indulge in. There’s no reason to not eat a Triple Cheese jaffle filled with feta, Swiss and tasty cheese and why not grab yourself Pulled Bas Bagel while you’re at it. It’s got smoky BBQ pulled beef with creamy peri peri mayo and apple slaw. YUMMO.
Where: 4/21 Nind Street, Southport

The Coffee Deck
Overlooking the water at Paradise Point, The Coffee Deck opened mid last year and it’s a hit. Offering loaded muffins (check out their Instagram for a sneak peek at these bad boys), homemade cakes and treats and delicious local coffee, this colour-filled space makes a delicious all day breakfast plus they’ve got a specialty hot chocolate (!) menu, we think you’re gonna love it.
