Halloween is a time when the kiddies get to dress up, attend parties and generally roll around collect all of the sugar to consume over the next few days and drive their parents insane. Which sounds like a time for everyone involved.
In honour of that, here’s a list of Halloween good times the kids can get involved in when Halloween rolls around next week.
NightQuarter has been brewin’ up a Halloween Spooktacular party filled with devilish desserts, ghoulish delights, and trick or treating until moonlight. Families of frightening creatures of the night are invited to eat, drink and be scary at NightQuarter for a spooktacular Trick or Treat Hunt and a wickedly good time. Trick or Treat hunt is $5 per child. No bookings required but arrive early.

Southport Yacht Club
Head to Southport Yacht Club for The Spooktacular Halloween Party on October 31st from 5.30 pm. Get your jack-o-lanterns and treat buckets ready for a massive evening of entertainment, face painting, fairy floss, lollies and games! Go dressed in your spookiest outfit because prizes will be given out to those who look the most terrifying.

Surfers Paradise Fest-Evil
The living dead will descend on Surfers Paradise in October for the spookiest celebration of the year! Surfers Paradise Fest-Evil is a new three-day Halloween inspired event bringing with it a graveyard full of fun activities for all ages. From face painting to horror make up workshops, spontaneous ‘freak show’ dance routines, costume competitions, games and 18+ ‘after hours’ events, this is a nightmare you won’t want to forget.

Twilight Food Market
Eat, drink and be scary with some of the region’s best and freakiest food trucks, craft stalls and live music by Micka Scene to enjoy into the evening. Come dressed in your favourite fright-night outfits for an afternoon of spooky-fun including a best-dressed competition on the main stage at 4.00pm for kids under 12 years. The fun doesn’t stop there, with a line-up of FREE kid’s activities including a Halloween inspired face painter, creepy craft corner, fang-tastic lawn games and a gigantic jumping castle.

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary
Join the Sanctuary for a night of fun this Halloween weekend. Bring the family and enjoy dinner at the markets from 4pm, then enter the Fangtuary to ride the ghost train through the Sanctuary at night. Explore the nocturnal corridor and discover what the bats really get up to after dark. Plus have your photo taken with the snakes and owls. That’s some creepy stuff. Ticket price includes trick or treats and fun activities for the kids. Go dressed in your spookiest costume.
