At the top of the Gold Coast lies Paradise Point. Protected by South Stradbroke Island, this area is known for being surrounded by water on three sides and its beautiful parklands. This suburb, and neighbouring Mermaid Waters and Nobbys Beach, are a favourite of people who like to have unrestricted access to the beach and avoid high-rise developments. Known for its beachside strip of cute cafes and shopping boutiques, Burleigh Heads offers a relaxed change of pace from the high energy lifestyle you might find in other areas. This is a spot especially loved by visitors from Brisbane (and further abroad), many of whom have fond childhood memories of family road trips down to Burleigh’s beautiful beaches.
