Canary Bar

Exclusive discount on Caulfield Cup Race Day tickets.

Admit it, spring is your favourite season and what’s not to love? The prettiest flowers are blooming up and down your street, the water is warm enough to tentatively dip your toes into and, because this is what you came for, it’s racing season.

Yes, the champagne is flowing, the fancy frocks are out and the horses are fitter than you or I will ever be. Happy days.

Next up on the Gold Coast’s jam-packed Spring Carnival agenda is Caulfield Cup Day (October 21st) and it’s gonna be a gooden.

This year the Turf Club is debuting the Canary Bar which will be serving, wait for it, Chandon Popsicles. Have you ever heard of something so excellent? Doubt it.

Those fizzing, icy little babies are part of a five-hour dining and beverage package which also includes a gourmet grazing menu featuring fresh seafood and an Asian banquet (among other tasty treats). It’s an interactive-style dining experience so you can literally stroll around with your Chandon Popsicle in a cup and try a little bit of everything.

Think Moreton Bay bug tails with gremolata, chilli lime coriander and mint dipping sauce and Queensland wild duck confit with housemade ice cream for dessert.

COUNT. US. IN.

There’s also going to be live entertainment trackside and your ticket price includes access to the exclusive afterparty at Stingray Bar & Lounge plus transport from Aquis Park.

So Caulfield Cup 2017 hey, they’re really going all out.

The party kicks off at noon and we’ve got an exclusive discount on tickets for Inside Gold Coast readers. Click here to grab yours and use the code INSIDE20 for $20 off.

Enjoy your popsicles peeps.
