It’s that time of year again race goers, bust out your fancy frocks and get ready to party, Spring Carnival is back and it’s better than ever.
The Gold Coast Turf Club will this year showcase a host of new experiences across nine weeks of fun, fashion and fillies. From September 23rd until November 11th your local home of racing will feature everything from (actual) glitter to a brand new bar.
Pink Ribbon Cup Race Day kicks off on Saturday September 23rd with the exciting addition of the Spritzer Soiree in The Dome. It’ll be a lively (always) cocktail party featuring the tastiest of eats, live music and all the on-track action.
The theme encourages gals to don the prettiest of pink ensembles, grab a free spritzer on arrival and indulge in some free body art whilst swanning about the Sirromet Sparkling Garden Bar.
The debut of Canary Bar at Caulfield Cup Race Day is one you won’t want to miss. On October 21st the Turf Club will unveil a brand new experience including a gourmet grazing menu from a variety of interactive food stations (including fresh seafood)! Packages also include five hours or premium beverages (pace yourselves) and plenty of sparkly, Chandon-inspired goodies to keep you entertained.
Hot Tomato Derby Day is always a fun-filled time and this year, on November 4th, there’ll be a Moet Ice Beach Party. As you no doubt know, champagne on the (faux) beach is always a good idea.
Of course Melbourne Cup will go off with a bang (that starter gun hey) and hopefully your boss will let you take half a day off work to get involved in the action!
This racing season is set to be one of the Coast’s most exciting yet and there’s certainly plenty of opportunities to dress up and sip champagne in the sunshine.
Cheers to spring and a season filled with soirees.
