"He was a wise man who invented beer"
Oktoberfest is upon us, spring is in the air and the Gold Coast is delivering some of its finest "cheersworthy" weather, so this must mean one thing.. BEER.. and lots of it! If you were to visit the Bavarian Bier Cafe', the only German style Bier Cafe' in Broadbeach, you would in fact have over 30 biers/beers to choose from ... Craft beers, German biers, lagers, wheat beers, biers with a twist, ciders and the rest. Are you thirsty yet?
Get a group together and grab your Bier passport, to celebrate Oktoberfest, until the end of October, the Bavarian Bier Cafe' have on offer 5 limited edition Oktoberfest biers.. So what makes these so special? They've all been brewed with a higher alcohol content, you heard correctly (we'll wait for you to pick yourself back up off the floor). Finish 5 x 1L steins of these special Oktoberfest Biers and not only will you score yourself a free Bavarian Bier Cafe' Shirt, but also go into the running to win tickets to the actual Oktoberest in Bavaria!
Now we don't just want to get you all excited about the beer, because wait.. there's more! Just when you thought you were lost in a hops paradise, the Bavarian Bier Cafe' take it to the next level and stick some pork on your fork! Not just any piece of pork, all the pork, the knuckle, the sausage, even the shredded kind. The best way to taste it all, the Munich Brewers Platter, otherwise go large and order the Famous Pork Knuckle. Pork may seem to steal the show, but in true German style, these guys have your schnitzel crumbed, your hot dog stuffed and your sausage sizzled. Because the team at Bavarian Bier Cafe' Broadbeach are such people pleasers, they even have the option for you to create your own salad or wrap, health conscious eaters rejoice!
The blue and white colours of the Bavarian flag are proudly displayed throughout the restaurant both inside and out, a head tilting mezzanine frames the rows of stein glasses which appear to be floating mid air, and the Bavarian Bier Cafe pin-up girls keep a watchful eye over the antics. Take a seat in the sun in the quirky alfresco area or keep cool in the restaurant under a watchful moose eye.
Open 7 days a week until 12am and for Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday.
