There are about a million ways to eat an ice cream. As Bubba Gump would say, sugar cone, waffle cone, cup, cake, spoonful, banana split, sundae, on a waffle, in a smoothie, in a shake, make a float, out of the tub, ice cream sandwich. But an ICE CREAM SLIDER? That’s a first!

Ice cream lovers prepare to wrap your mitts around the toasty sweet brioche bun that encases your customised ice cream goodness.
Here’s the deal:
Rock up to your favourite Cold Rock and choose your ice cream. Select as many mix-in’s as you like, perhaps its M&M’s, Oreo pieces, gummy worms, or fresh fruit. Watch as the Rockers skilfully chop and crush your concoction into a ball of deliciousness, place it on the bottom bun, smother it in gooey chocolate raspberry or caramel sauce, top it with cream and add the top bun.
As the ice cream chef hands over your customised ice cream slider, be prepared to launch straight into dessert heaven.
The first thing you should know is that the brioche bun is more like a cake bun. The bun was dense, sweet, warm and sprinkled with powdered sugar. The bun is served warm, meaning eating ice cream in the winter a lot more enjoyable. As we bit through the bun to the ice cream, the contrast of warm in cold created an instant mouth party. It’s fun in a bun!
With over 3,000 different flavour combinations, here are a few favourites:
- Cookies and cream ice cream with smashed M&M’s and Oreo’s
- Chocolate ice cream with smashed Snickers and Maltesers
- Aussie Vanilla ice cream with smashed Strawberries and Chocolate Fudge
- Bubblegum ice cream with smashed Flake and Gummy Bears
Here is one we don’t recommend, mint ice cream with Nerds. Looks cool in the photo, but unless you are five, you will probably think it’s a yucky combo.
