Slideways Go Karting Gold Coast

Something has happened in the Gold Coast go karting scene and it’s big, triple decker big!

Slideways Go Karting Gold Coast has taken a giant warehouse in Nerang and turned itin to the Gold Coast’s coolest go karting facility. How?

The new venue features a 475m indoor/outdoor circuit split over 3 levels. The European style circuit will have you drifting around corners, speeding through straights, racing over ramps and cruising through the dark under-cover cave.

Priding themselves on providing customers with the ultimate go karting experience, Slideways Go Karting Gold Coast has added Bespoke track lighting which keeps racers informed of race conditions, and gives the track a TRON glow.  The Karts are Sodi Karts from France and are fitted with a 270cc 9HP Honda engine (for all you non small engine folks, it means they are fast, 70km/h fast), and the track is slick as a seals back.

For the competitive as people out there, through the Slideways phone app you can store all your race data and beat your times. You can also keep it old fashioned by leaving your mates behind as you speed around the track (a little competition is healthy amirite?).

Here’s what you can expect from the experience.
You come in and register, then head up stairs, grab a hair net and a helmet and sit down for a safety briefing. Once you load into your kart you are off. A little push on the pedal sends you flying. You’ll zip around the track and when you come to the cave you’ll have your mind blown. It’s the coolest feature on any go kart track in our area.  It truly feels like you are in a video game. You’ll whip outside and then back up stairs to do it all again.

Its unbelievably fun and an activity the entire family can enjoy. They even have two seater karts for the kids who just aren’t ready to get behind the wheel yet.

On the soon to happen list is GLOW Karting! Glow will be a “dark” track that will only be illuminated by the LED lights skirting the track (We'll keep you updated on that!). Also there will be a trikes training centre where kids as young as two can have their first driving experience.

Open from 10am – 10pm 7 days a week and located at 10 Spencer Road, Nerang
