Surrealism for Burleigh.

Lower Gold Coast Highway has welcomed it's newest edition, Salvador Deli, a one stop Mediterranean shop. This isn't owner, Manny (Manolis) Patunas's, first rodeo however. Having previously owned Southport's Great Greek Kafe and other various ventures, including a burlesque bar in Brisbane, Manny decided that he wanted to open something closer to home and so Salvador Deli was born. 

The Deli

Salvador Deli (a play on words of famous Spanish surrealist artist Salvador Dali) is the perfect canvas for any food lover. Choose from cured meats, an array of marinated goods such as olives, beans and seafood, fresh breads, condiments, tapenades, dips, baked goods, gourmet sandwiches, cheese... a lot of cheese, frozen goods or house made pastas...everything and anything you could want to create your own food masterpiece. 

The Cafe

Not much of a creative yourself? Let the chef help you out instead. Salvador Deli's Greek inspired menu offers a breakfast and all day menu. For breakfast choose from Sweet Potato Hash Browns, French Fruit Toast or Strawberry Crepes. The all day menu offers BBQ Atlantic Salmon served with tarama, lemon, rocket salad and a sweet balsamic vinegarette or Greek Spiced Slow Roasted Lamb Shoulder with bush lemon and roast potato. The Open Yeros Plates definitely a favourite; served with your choice of Chicken Thigh, Oregano Rubbed Lamb Shoulder , Cypriot Haloumi, Saganaki or Greek style vegetables, all served on smoked pita bread with wild rocket, red onion, gala tomato and Greek tzatziki. Or there is the forever faithful kebab. Best part is, all of the items on the menu are available for take-away!

Pull up a wooden stool or sit back in a deck chair and enjoy the easy going, homely atmosphere. A BYO venue, Salvador Deli is a welcome change, offering a relaxed dining experience perfect for beach goers, last minute lunches, dinners or a casual breakfast.
