Your NXT door neighbour just got a whole lot better
Gold Coast favourite Grocer and Grind have decided to share their healthy whole food ways with an exciting new venture, NXT Door. Set to open this Friday, NXT Door is going to be THE superfood dining destination on the coast.
Situated directly next door to Grocer and Grind, diners will get to sit back at the bar, on the lounge or amongst the communal tables in a sensual, industrial-luxe environment.
Over two years in the making, It is clear to see the passion and effort that has gone into creating this tantalising dining experience. Staying true to their values toward food, the menu is full of locally sourced and sustainable dishes where diners are encouraged to "interact with their food" according to their individual tastes.
So what can you expect from the menu which is absolutely bursting with flavour? Street superfood such as Whole Tacos with either haloumi, pulled pork or a vegan option, wrapped in a warm gluten free tortilla, coleslaw, homemade guacamole, pico d'galo and tahini tumeric dressing. Mouthwatering tapas; Coconut bread served with a duo of oil, coconut tumeric, smoked paprika and matcha dukka finish. Grocer Garden salads like the Paleo Protein Salad with grilled chicken, flaked salmon, kale, asparagus, sundried tomato, roasted almonds and poached eggs. Or how about raw sweet treats like the Berry Boost Superbowl or Coconut Flour Crepe Flambe.
Manager Max Gorvel says the Espresso Beef is guaranteed to be a highlight on the menu; scotch fillet served with persil black wild rice and sticky organic coffee sauce. Not only do diners get to indulge in the mouthwatering food, there is also a selection of organic, cold-pressed cocktails (which must definitely mean they're good for you) to sip on or a range of craft beers at the ready.
The perfect destination for health conscious diners, bar hopping gym junkies or anyone that loves good food, NXT Door is going to be the best neighbour you ever had.
