A cup of kindness

Pay it forward with coffee.

Owners of Coffeeology Espresso, Enrique Febres and Lina Torres Borbon have taken their desire to help the Gold Coast community to the next step. Partnering with Homeless Connect, "A cup of kindness" campaign has been created, a pay it forward initiative which sees Gold Coast homeless provided with a free coffee and muffin, a place to feel at ease and somewhere that allow them to integrate into the community.

Enrique is passionate about supporting the people of the community who are currently struggling. You can play your part by donating $5 either in person at Coffeeology Espresso, online or via the app which is soon to be launched. This $5 then covers the cost for a coffee and muffin to be given to a homeless member of the community.

Coffeeology Espresso, which is situated next door to the Broadbeach Library, offer smile inducing coffee made using Gold Coast's favourite Paradox Roasters beans, cold pressed juices, a delicious selection of cakes and a breakfast menu with nothing over $12.00.

Their love for creating a fun and inviting atmosphere for everyone and anyone doesn't stop at the food and coffee though. The community is also brought together every second Saturday with "Salsa Saturdays", live Latin music (salsa instructor included) from 11am - 2pm.

The official launch for "a cup of kindness" is the 16 January 2017. Orange Sky Laundry, a portable laundry that washes clothes for homeless people for free, will also be showing their support by offering their service every Friday. For only $5 you will buy more than just a coffee and muffin, but help create new opportunities for those in need.
